Hoje venho vos apresentar mais uma loja etsy, desta vez Nerdy Grl Designs. Há já algum tempo que conheço esta loja pelo Instagram. Tem coisas adoráveis e sempre tive grande vontade de adquirir alguns produtos. Aproveitando o fim de semana de St. Patrick e um desconto disponível na altura, decidi avançar com a compra.
Segundo o que sei todas as encomendas têm direito a um freebie, como fiz a encomenda durante o St. Patrick’s Day, tive direito a um pequeno pote de ouro. O que eu encomendei? Três sets de marcadores magnéticos: um da Princess Sparckles Unicorn, outro de Doctor Who e, um terceiro, da Sailor Moon (há uma falha imensa porque não haver um set com as restantes Sailors). À parte destes sets, encomendei dois marcadores, ditos normais, de Doctor Who (duuuuh, obvs!) e outro do Suicide Squad, com uma quote da Harley Quinn.
Todos os marcadores têm uma qualidade incrível e são lindos, no entanto achei o shipping um pouco tempo, em comparação com outras lojas do género. Ainda assim, gostei muito de tudo o que comprei e muito possivelmente irei voltar a comprar mais desta loja.
I’m here today to show you another Etsy store; this time is Nerdy Grl Designs. I’ve been checking out this store for a while, since I discovered it on Instagram. It has such adorable things, and I always wanted some. I took advantage of St. Patrick’s Day and used the discount to make my first order.
According to what I know, all orders has a freebie, and since I made my order on St. Patrick’s weekend I got a pot of gold. And what I ordered? Three magnetic bookmarks sets: Princess Sparkles Unicorn, Doctor Who and, and Sailor Moon (which is a pity there isn’t a set with the other Sailors!). On top of that I also ordered two “normal” bookmarks: one Doctor Who themed (duuuh, obvs!) and another from Suicide Squad with a quote from Harley Quinn.
All bookmarks have such good quality and they are all beautiful, although I think the shipping took a bit too long, comparing to other similar Etsy stores. Nevertheless, I loved evbeything I got, and I will definitely going back a buy more stuff in the future.
A loja etsy que hoje venho aqui apresentar está-me no coração. Conheci esta loja através da Fairyloot, sendo que fizeram parte da caixa de Fevereiro com uma vela INCRÍVEL relativamente ao livro EMPRESS OF A THOUSAND SKIES, de Rhoda Belleza.
Depois de me apaixonar pela vela Kalusian Sunset da Happy Piranha que veio com a Fairyloot de Fevereiro, eu não consegui resistir a esta loja! Esta continua a ser a minha vela favorita (e como estranha que sou, cheiro-a todos os dias, de tão boa que é), mas aproveitei a promoção do conjunto de três que está disponível na loja Etsy.
O envio foi super rápido (acho que nem chegou a uma semana) e o cuidado do condicionamento de cada vela dentro da caixa foi extraordinário. E ainda ofereceram uma chocolatinho em forma de coração! Sou terrível a descrever cheiros, mas aqui estão as três velas que escolhi:
• Unicorn Tears: Não consigo descobrir a que cheira, mas lembra-me um perfume que a minha mãe costumava usar quando eu era pequena. A cera tem uma cor roxa mesmo perfeita.
• Futterwacken & Upelkuchen: uma vela inspirada na Alice in Wonderland que cheira a caramelo, café e bolos. É tao bom que apetece mesmo comer. A cor da cera é amarelo pálido e lembra mesmo a nata dos pastéis de nata.
• Lunar Lights: vela inspirada n’As Crónicas Lunares. Tem um tom de vermelho mesmo forte extraordinário que está relacionado com o cheiro forte de morangos com chocolate.
Fiquei muito satisfeita com as minhas velas. Enquanto que a Kalusian Sunset é a minha favorita das quatro velas, essa nunca serei capaz de a acender porque é exclusiva e, uma vez que acabe não há mais; as três que comprei, quando as terminar, posso sempre comprar novas. É uma loja que recomendo bastante, porque o serviço ao cliente é fantástico, tem preços acessíveis, tendo em conta que se trata de velas grandes e, visto que se situa no Reino Unido, os portes de envio são bem mais em conta que qualquer companhia dos Estados Unidos.
The Etsy store I’m here to present is one that is deep in my heart. I discovered this store through Fairyloot, since they were part of their February box with an AMAZING candle related to the book EMPRESS OF A THOUSAND SKIES, by Rhonda Belleza.
After falling in love for Kalusian Candles by Happy Piranha that came with Fairyloot, I couldn’t resist this store! This candle is still my favourite (and weird as I am, I keep sniffing it every day!), but I took advantage of a 3 candles deal available at the Etsy store.
The shipping was super fast (I think it took less than a week) the care with the packaging of each candle was extraordinary, and they still offer a little heart shaped chocolate. I suck at describing scents, but here is the candles I choose:
• Unicorn Tears: I really can’t describe this scent, but it reminds me of perfume my Mum used to wear when I was little. The wax has an incredible shade of purple.
• Futterwacken & Upelkuchen: this candle is inspired by Alice in Wonderland which smells like caramel, coffee and pastries. It’s so good it makes me want to eat it. The wax is pale yellow and it reminds me Portuguese Custers Tarts.
• Lunar Lights: this one is inspired by The Lunar Chronicles. It has an impressive shade of red related to its smell, which is strawberries covered with chocolate.
I was really pleased with my candles. Kalusian Sunset is my favourite candle of four candles, and I’ll never be able to light it up, because it’s an exclusive candle – when it’s over, it’s over forever; the other three I can always buy more. I really recommend this store, because it has an amazing customer service, affordable prices due to the fact they are big candles. Since it’s based on the UK the shipping is a more reasonable price than any company based in the US.
Esta é uma publicação especial. Este texto estava planeado na minha cabeça há já alguns dias, e no domingo recebi uma notícia incrível que me deixou super feliz! Esta publicação é referente a uma muito recente loja Etsy chamada Marking Dreams, criada pela Rocio – uma rapariga espanhola super querida e cheia de talento que conheci através da comunidade bookstagram.
Assim que ela me disse que ia criar uma loja Etsy e vi os primeiros designs que ela criou e não resisti e comprei um para mim e outro para a Joana. Apaixonei-me por eles e eram a cara da Joana (não fosse ela uma grande apaixonada pela Bela e o Monstro). Os marcadores são feitos à mão e o papel tem uma qualidade extraordinária. Fiquei verdadeiramente surpreendida, pela positiva, com estes marcadores. Uma vez que fui a primeira venda da Marking Dreams recebi uma prendinha super adorável.
A Rocio enviou-me um marcador personalizado com o meu nome! Não é a coisa mais amorosa?! E além disso o próprio envelope vinha decorado (como podem ver pela fotografia anterior)! A atenção ao detalhe que a Rocio tem em tudo é extraordinária.

This is a special post. This text was planned in my mind for a while now, and on Sunday I received really good news, which made me super happy! This post is about this super new Etsy store called Marking Dreams, created by Rocio – a lovely and talented Spanish girl I met in bookstagram community.
As soon she told me she was going to open an Etsy store and I saw her first designs I couldn’t resist and bought one for me and another to give to Joana. I fell in love with them and they were perfect for Joana (she’s a hardcore Beauty and the Beast fan). These bookmarks are handmade and the quality of the paper is extremely good. I was truly surprised in a positive way by these bookmarks. Since I was her first sale she gave me a lovely gift.
Rocio has sent me a personalised bookmark with my name! Isn’t it the most gorgeous thing you ever saw? Besides that, even the envelope was decorated (as you can see in the picture above)! Her attention to details is extraordinary.

Nesta primeira publicação venho vos falar da Mandy, ela que é a pessoa responsável pela loja etsy FangirlFantasyBook. Ela cria marcadores extraordinários, todos eles feitos à mão com todo o carinho e amor possível. Eu comprei três para mim e um quarto para oferecer à Joana.
Digam lá que eles não são lindos?! Completamente apaixonada por eles e por mais uns quantos que ela tem na loja! Têm dos mais variados fandoms essencialmente relacionados com livros, mas não só. HEARTLESS: Ela colocou este marcador à venda pouquíssimo tempo depois (I MEAN FEW HOURS LATER!) de eu fazer a minha compra. Era impossível não querer este também, tendo em conta que é LINDO e eu adorei o livro. Falei com ela e veio tudo juntinho!
HUFFLEPUFF: confesso que estou extremamente tentada a comprar as restantes casas só pelo facto de serem lindas! Tendo em conta que segundo o site Pottermore eu sou Slytherpuff (o beta meteu-me em Slytherin e o novo em Hufflepuff), o marcador de Slytherin MUITO possivelmente virá na minha próxima compra.
Não tenho nenhuma foto individual do NIGHT COURT, porque esse foi o que comprei para oferecer à Joana, mas ela é uma fofa e tirou fotos para eu poder colocar aqui. Este era o único que tinha dos dois lados (como podem ver pelas fotos abaixo).
Tenho a referir que todos os marcadores são laminados, por isso são super resistentes (e à prova de água). O envio foi extremamente rápido e ainda tive dois stamps de oferta. I decided that I’ll start posting some kind of review of my bookish purchases. I don’t want to show off what I bought/got/won, but to make these awesome small businesses known.
In this first post I’m going to write about Mandy – she’s the one behind FangirlFantasyBook etsy shop. She creates amazing bookmarks, all of them are homemade with love. I bought three bookmarks for me and a fourth to give to Joana.
Aren’t they beautiful?! I’m completely in love with them, and for a few more in her etsy shop! She has a lot of different fandoms, especially book related, but not only. Mandy is a super talented girl, and so sweet. She’s from Hong Kong, but he has FREE SHIPPING WORLWIDE – which is, obviously, a major positive point in her favour!
Please, go check her etsy shop, because she really has amazing things, and they aren’t expensive. Besides that, she always has updates in her store, and she might be plotting some surprises *WINK WINK* Now I’ll show them individually:

HUFFLEPUFF: I have to confess that I’m extremely tempted to buy all houses, just because they are super pretty! But since, according to Pottermore, I’m Slytherpuff (beta website sorted me into Slytherin, and the new website into Hufflepuff), Slytherin bookmarks WILL come in my next order.
I didn’t take any photo of NIGHT COURT, because that was the one I bought to give to Joana, but she’s awesome and took these photos so I could show this bookmark! This was the only double bookmark (as you can see in the photos).
I must add that all bookmarks are limited, which means they are super resistant (and water proof). The shipping was super fast, and I got two stamps as gift.
