Capa mais deliciosa: Capa portuguesa (a da direita)
Porquê? Carla: É preciso admitir que, em geral, as capas nacionais são sempre bem mais bonitas que as originais - especialmente neste género literário em especifico. E assim há entendem qual é a minha favorita, certo? Obviamente a versão portuguesa, pois é muito mais elegante e conjuga muito melhor tanto a paleta de cores como a composição da imagem.
Joana: Gosto muito mais da elegância da capa portuguesa. O vermelho continua presente para dar com o título, com ar histórico na mesma.
É uma capa mais apelativa e mistura bem cores.

Why? Carla: We must admit that the majority of the Portuguese covers is way prettier than the original ones – especially in this genre in specific. You already guessed my favourite cover, right? It’s obviously the Portuguese cover, since it has a better use of the colours and also a better composition in general.
Joana: I prefer the elegance of the Portuguese cover. The red is still there to match the title, still with a historical look. It's a more appealing cover and I like the mix of colours used.
Porquê? Carla: Para ser muito sincera, não gosto de nenhuma. Cada uma delas tem os seus pontos positivos, mas não ultrapassam os negativos. A original ganha pela modelo, mas a Portuguesa pela paleta de cores
Joana: Acho que entre estas duas capas gosto mais da original, o que é algo raro. Mas gosto bastante do título original, parece que quase canta na língua. E gosto como a modelo da capa parece estar completamente em controlo da situação. Já a capa portuguesa não é má, não sou particularmente fã daquela mão no pescoço da modelo e acho que acaba por não ficar tão bem, mesmo tendo tons que me agradam.

Why? Carla: to be brutally honest, I don't like any of the covers. Both have good things about them, but they don't surpass the bad things. The major point about the original cover is the model, and about the Portuguese cover is the colours.
Joana: I think, for a change, that I prefer the original cover, which is rare. But I really like the original title, how it almost sounds like it sings on your tongue. And I like how the model looks completely in control of the situation. The Portuguese cover, however, is not bad, but I don’t really like how the model’s neck just sits awkwardly in her neck, I don’t think it looks as good as the original, even though I’m quite fond of the colour palette.

Porquê? Carla: Prefiro, tal como a Joana, a capa nacional. Não só gosto muito mais da imagem que tem como base, como da composição e da paleta de cores escolhida para o lettering.
Joana: Prefiro a capa portuguesa. O enquadramento tanto do título como do nome da autora parece-me melhor e gosto das cores e da imagem usada, é romântica sem ser demasiado óbvia.

Why? Carla: I prefer the Portuguese cover just like Joana. Not only I think the picture chosen for the Portuguese cover is better than the original, but also think the composition and colours used on the lettering are way more appealing.
Joana: I prefer the Portuguese cover. The framework of both the author's name and the title looks better and I really the colours that were used, as well as the image - it creates a romantic cover without being to obvious.

Porquê? Carla: Apesar de não ser fã de nenhuma das capas, acho a original (a da esquerda) bem mais apelativa e agradável que a capa nacional.
Joana: Gosto bastande das duas capas. A original tem tons verdes e fluídos de que gosto e a portuguesa vai por tons mais cor-de-rosa e tem uma leitora na capa, o que é um ponto a favor! Mantendo-se no mesmo género das outras capas, a portuguesa pode não dar logo a entender que é um romance histórico (excepto pelo título), enquanto que a original é facilmente reconhecível como romance de época. No fim, acabo divida entre as duas capas...

Why? Carla: I'm not fan of either cover, but I think the original cover (the one on the left) is more appealing and pleasing to the eye than the Portuguese cover.
Joana: I really like both covers… The original has fluid green tones that I like and the Portuguese cover has more a pink shade and, of course, a reader on the cover which is a point for them! The Portuguese cover maintains the same type of cover has the other ones in this series, and you might not be able to tell right away that it’s an historical romance (except for the title), whereas the original cover is easily recognizable as a historical romance. In the end, I’m torn between both covers....
Porquê? Carla: Não gosto de nenhuma das capas. A capa nacional ficaria à frente se não tivessem decidido colocar o título dentro de um bloco de cor sólida.
Joana: Gosto das duas capas. A original, mantém-se dentro do género das capas inglesas e americanas de romances históricos, mas não é tão exagerada como algumas em que temos os modelos quase despidos. Já a portuguesa mantém uma elegância e uma sedução que prefiro à original. Chama-me mais à atenção e acabo por a achar mais bonita.

Why? Carla: I don't like any of the covers. I would prefer the Portuguese cover, if they haven't decided to put the title in a solid coloured box.
Joana: I like both covers. The original one follows the typical American and English historical romance covers, but is not as exaggerated as some covers that show the models almost naked. The Portuguese cover, on the other hand, has an elegance and a touch of seduction that I prefer. It catches my eye more easily and I end up finding it more beautiful.

Porquê? Carla: Para ser sincera, não gosto de nenhuma das capas. Mas tendo que escolher diria a capa nacional, sendo que tens cores mais agradáveis e neutras.
Joana: Adoro a capa portuguesa. Os tons em creme, a beleza intemporal. Os pormenores do fundo que me fazem lembrar os palácios e casas históricas. A beleza de como todo o enquadramento está feita. É uma capa que prima por não ter muito – tem exactamente o suficiente e chama a atenção. A capa original, por outro lado, acaba por ser mais uma entre muitas deste género literário, e perde por isso mesmo. Gosto do vestido azul, mas já a letra utilizada tanto para o nome da autora como para o título não são das que mais gosto. Resumindo, prefiro a portuguesa.

Why? Carla: To be entirely honest, I don’t like any of the covers. But if I had to choose one I’d say the Portuguese cover, since it has more neutral and pleasing colours.
Joana: I love the Portuguese cover. The crème shape, the timeless beauty. The details on the back remind me of palaces and historical houses. The beauty of the how the framework is done. It’s a cover than doesn’t have too much on it – it has just enough to catch our eye. The original cover, on the other hand, ends up being just one more between many of this literary genre – and it falls short exactly because of it. I like the blue dress, but not the font used both on the title and the author’s name. In short, I prefer the Portuguese cover.
Porquê? Carla: Sinto-me ligeiramente dividida entre as duas capas. Primeiro, gosto que a capa portuguesa seja mais clara e mais suave que a original, no entanto, gosto mais dos tons (azul, roxo) desta última, pois são as minhas cores favoritas. Neste caso vou escolher a capa original porque acho que capta melhor a essência de alguns pormenores da estória
Joana: Gosto bastante das duas capas. Ao contrário da Carla, não li esta colecção e por isso não posso dizer qual se enquadra mais com a história. A capa portuguesa tem tons calmos e relaxantes, quase de fada pelo ar vaporoso da modelo. Já na capa original, o gato continua como símbolo da feiticeira, como na capa anterior. E as cores, para mim, estão mais associadas à magia. Acho que acabo por gostar mais da composição da capa original.

Why? Carla: I feel a bit divided between these two covers. Firstly, I like that the Portuguese cover is brighter and smoother than the original, although I prefer the colours (blue, purple) from the original colour since they are my favourites. In this particular case I’ll choose the original cover, because I think it captures better the essence of its story.
Joana: I really like both covers. Unlike Carla, I didn’t read this series so I can’t say which one relates more to the plot. The Portuguese cover has softer, more relaxing colours, almost fairy-like, with the model’s vaporous look. The original cover, however, keeps the cat as the symbol for the witch, just like it did in the previous cover. And the colours, for me, are more associated with magic. I think I prefer the original cover’s composition.

Porquê? Carla: Esta vai ser uma capa que vou escolher em termos de relação capa-enredo. Gosto muito mais, em termos visuais, da capa nacional, pois parece-me mais sóbria, apelativa na sua conjugação de cores, mas... a capa original é muito mais próxima do seu enredo. Acho que consegue, numa só imagem, congregar vários aspectos da estória deste livro. Por isso, o meu voto vai para a capa original.
Joana: Gosto bastante das duas capas, com bonitos tons de outono, dourados e laranjas. Acho que a capa original acaba por chamar mais a minha atenção devido às suas cores mais fortes. E gosto do gato ali meio escondido a olhar para o leitor.

Why? Carla: I will choose this cover due to its relationship between cover-plot. I think the Portuguese cover is way more beautiful, because it’s more sober, more appealing with its colour coordination, but… the original cover is closer to the plot of this book. I think it manages, in one simple image, to bring together the essence of this book.
Joana: I really like both covers, with their beautiful autumn colours, golden and orange. I think the original cover is a bit more catchy, because of stronger colours. And I like the cat, kind of hidden in the corner, looking at the reader.

Porquê? Carla: Não preciso de pensar duas vezes para escolher a capa nacional como a favorita. Graficamente parece-me não só mais apelativa (e vamos por de parte, para já, o enredo do livro), mas também mais sóbria e equilibrada em termos mais técnicos, se assim podemos dizer. E tal como a Joana vai refrir, acho que a composição da capa nacional parece-me mais de encontro do enredo deste livro em particular, fazendo não só a associação à Morgaine, perspectiva de quem temos durante este livro, como à Vivianne, tia de Morgaine e actual Senhora do Lago - as duas mulheres que, neste livro, estão ligadas à Magia.
Joana:A capa portuguesa, à direita, tem muito mais impacto que a capa original, para mim. O meu olhar é imediatamente atraído para essa capa. A capa portuguesa puxa mais pelo título Senhora da Magia, com uma mulher na capa, que pode ser identificada com a Dama do Lago, Morgaine(a meia-irmã do famoso Rei Artur de Camelot) ou ainda outra das fortes e mágicas personagens femininas que o livro nos dá. Já a capa original mostra uma cavaleira com uma espada, fazendo-nos logo pensar na Excalibur e toda a história associada a esta espada e à sua irmã. Como as Brumas de Avalon são uma perspectiva mais feminina e a capa portuguesa acaba por me chamar mais à atenção, acabo por a escolher, à capa da direita.
E vocês, qual a vossa favorita?

Why? Carla: I don’t need to think twice to say that my favourite cover is the Portuguese one. Graphically, I think the Portuguese over is not only more appealing (and we are not focusing on the plot right now), but is also more sober, and balanced in technical terms, if we can say that. As Joana will say in a moment, the Portuguese composition has more into account the plot of this book in particular, making the association to Morgaine (from whom we follow almost all the story), but also Vivianne, Morgaine’s aunt, and the Lady of the Lake at the time in this particular book, which are the two women linked to Magic.
Joana: The Portuguese cover, on the right, has a lot more impact than the original cover, for me. I’m immediately drawn to it. The Portuguese cover tries to connect the title Mistress of Magic with the woman on the cover, who might be identified as the Lady of the Lake, Morgaine (the half-sister of the famous King Arthur of Camelot), or some of the other strong and magical female characters that appear in the book. The original cover, on the other hand, shows us a rider (who is also a woman) with a sword, immediately connecting us with Excalibur and its history, as well as its sister’s history. Because the Mists of Avalon are a more feminine perspective about Avalon and Camelot’s history and, to be honest, the Portuguese cover still catches my eye in an easier manner than the original cover, I choose it, the cover on the right.
Porquê? Carla: Este é, até ao momento, a escolha mais difícil entre as capas. Gosto imenso da capa original uma vez que é super fiel aos comics do seu interior e liga-se bastante bem, mas... a nacional usa como cor de fundo uma das minhas cores favoritas! Bom... escolho a nacional. Aquele fundo leva a melhor!
Joana:Não podendo falar da história porque não a li, não posso comentar se têm algo a ver com a história ou não. Assim, comento apenas a estética. Gosto mais da imagem da capa original, mas prefiro o fundo da nacional. Idealmente, fazia uma capa com o fundo da capa portuguesa e usa no centro a imagem da original. Apesar de gostar mais do tipo de letra da original, acho que a capa portuguesa acaba por chamar mais a minha atenção, sendo por isso a escolhida.

Why? Carla: Until now, this is the most difficult choice between bookcovers. I love the original one, because is faithful to its inner comics, but… the Portuguese has one of my favourite colours as its background. Well, I’ll choose the Portuguese cover. That colour wins!
Joana: I can’t talk about the plot because I haven’t read the book, so I can’t say if the book covers relate to it or not. So, I’m only going to talk about the aesthetic. I prefer the image on the original cover, but I prefer the colours and the background on the Portuguese cover. Ideally, I would create a book cover with the Portuguese cover background and add the image of the original one in the centre. Although I do prefer the font of the original cover, I think the Portuguese one is more appealing to me, so that’s why I choose it as the most delicious one.

Porquê? Carla: Ao fim de três meses corro o risco de estar sempre a dizer o mesmo, mas as capas deste mês voltam a cair na mesma categoria das anteriores. E a minha escolha volta a ser a mesma: a capa nacional, exactamente pelos mesmos motivos. Tenho que tirar o chapéu os designers portugueses porque, decididamente, as nossas capas são incrivelmente melhores que as originais. Mais apelativas em termos gráficos, cores mais agradáveis e com uma composição bem mais bonita.
Joana: Desta vez fiquei mais dividida... Gosto que a capa original tenha a ligação directa à Escócia, e como a capa tem um ar romântico. Por outro lado, gosto das cores da capa nacional, e que tenham mantido o mesmo esquema durante toda a colecção. Apesar de dar sempre um ar mais moderno e menos histórico, é uma capa bonita que chama à atenção sem ser tão descarada como a capa original. Talvez por isso escolha a da direita, a capa nacional, apesar de também gostar da capa original.
E vocês, qual a vossa favorita?

Why? Carla: After three months I may take the risk of repeating myself. This months’ covers are in the same category of the previous ones. And my choosing will be the same: the Portuguese cover, and for the same exact reasons. I must bow to the Portuguese designers, since our book covers are way better than the original’s - more graphically appealing, soothing colours, and a better and prettier composition.
Joana: This time I didn’t really know which one to choose… I like that the original cover has the Scotland connection, and that it has a romantic look. On the other hand, I really like the colours of the Portuguese cover, and that the designers kept it coherent along the collection. Even though it has a more modern look and less historical romance, it’s still a beautiful cover that calls to you without being too blatant. That’s probably why I’m choosing the one on the right, the Portuguese cover, even if I also like the original one.
Porquê? Carla: Mais um livro da Joana que não li, por isso, tal como no mês anterior, vou fazer a minha comparação única e exclusivamente relativamente às capas, e sem qualquer relação com a sua estória. E volto a dizer o mesmo que disse sobre o Romance com o Duque - prefiro, sem pensar duas vezes, a capa nacional, uma vez que parece-me graficamente melhor construído, uma melhor coordenação entre cores e não tem aquele ar terrível de livro de cordel que a capa internacional tem.
Joana: Não há dúvidas: a capa nacional, para mim, é muito mais bonita. As cores estão muito bem coordenadas, e transmitem uma sensação quase de alegria só pelos seus tons. Além de que acho que a modelo foi muito bem escolhida para uma capa deste género. E, como na capa do livro anterior, temos ali um castelo/casa que tem importância no livro.
E vocês, qual a vossa favorita?

Why? Carla: Another Joana’s book that I didn’t read. Therefore, as happened last month, I’ll just compare the two covers without taking its story into consideration. And I’ll write pretty much the same as I did about Romancing the Duke. Without a second thought, my favourite between the two is the Portuguese one, since, in my opinion, it’s graphically better put, has a better colour coordination, and doesn’t have that “cordel literature” look that the International cover has.
Joana: There’s no doubt in my mind: the Portuguese cover, on the right, for me, is way more beautiful. The colour scheme is gorgeous, and it makes me feel almost happy just by looking at it. Also, I think the model was very well chosen for a cover of a book like this. Finally, just like in the previous book of this series, the castle/manor in the background also matters to the story the book tells us.
Capa mais deliciosa: A direita, da edição portuguesa
Porquê? Carla: Vou estar a avaliar este livro literalmente pela capa, uma vez que nunca o li - livro típico da Joana, mas que não faz o meu género. E não tenho hesitação nesta escolha: prefiro a capa nacional, porque não só porque é muito mais agradável e bonita em termos cromáticos como também tem menos ar de "livro de cordel".
Joana: É uma escolha difícil. Gosto bastante das duas capas, de escolha de cores e paisagens, e estão bastante adequadas ao género de livro. Gosto muito do cor-de-rosa na capa da direita, mas a cara da senhora tão grande não é das coisas de que goste mais. O castelo está no sítio certo e fica tudo bem com as letras do título e da autora – aqui só acho que estas últimas ficam um pouco mais apagadas por ser cor-de-rosa em cima de cor-de-rosa, mesmo que noutro tom. Por outro lado, gosto imenso do vermelho vivo e elegante da capa original, chama bastante à atenção. Continuamos a ter o castelo, as letras do nome da autora são mais visíveis e o dourado faz um bonito contraste com o vestido. Acho que talvez goste mais desta capa, mas o cor-de-rosa fica tão bonito na portuguesa que fico mesmo indecisa. Estão as duas bastante adequadas e acertadas com a história.
E vocês, qual a vossa favorita?

Why? Carla: I’ll be judging the book literally by the cover, because I’ve never read it – it Joana’s kind of book, not exactly my cup of tea. And I cannot hesitate: the best cover is the Portuguese one, the one on the right. Not only because it’s more pleasant to the eye and prettier chromatically, but also looks less like a “livro de cordel” (which is an expression usually used to talk about not so great literature).
Joana: It’s a hard choice. I really like both covers, the palette of colours, the landscape… And they’re very adequate to the genre of book. I really like the pink on the cover on the right, but the large face isn’t something I quite like. The castle is in the right place and it suits the lettering, both the title’s and the author’s – although, to be honest, I don’t think that that pink was the best choice for the author’s lettering because it vanishes a bit in contrast with the pink in the lady’s dress. On the other hand, I really quite like the strong and elegant red in the original book cover, it caught my eye right away. We still have the castle, the lettering is more visible and makes a nice contrast with the dress. I think I might like this one just a bit more than the Portuguese cover, but the pink looks so nice that it’s really difficult to make a choice Both covers are adequate and show elements of the story.
Porquê? Carla: Eu li este livro em inglês, por essa razão, para mim, será sempre o Looking for Alaska. Tal como a Joana irá dizer, eu não gosto de nenhuma das capas, prefiro a original (que não está aqui representada) ainda que, mesmo assim, não seja favorita. Entre as duas que aqui colocamos, prefiro a reedição, uma vez que tem os meus tons favoritos. Adoro azul e gosto do contraste bem marcados da margarida com o background e do titulo amarelo contra o azul escuro.
Joana: Pessoalmente, não sou fã de nenhuma das capas, parece-me que falta qualquer coisa... Mas acho que acabo por gostar mais da azul. Gosto da paleta de cores, prefiro as letras da capa da direita, e acho que a flor fica melhor que a rapariga.
E vocês, qual a vossa favorita?

Why? Carla: I’ve read this book in English, so, for that reason, for me, it will always be Looking for Alaska. As Joana will say, I didn’t like any of these covers, I think the original is better (we are not showing it here), although I didn’t love it either. Between these two, I think I prefer the one on the right, because it has one my favourite colours. I love blue, and I love the contrast between the daisy and the background, and the yellow title against the dark blue.
Joana: Personally, I'm not a fan of any of the covers, it seems like something is missing... But I think I prefer the blue cover. I like the colour palette, I prefer the lettering on the right and I think the white flower looks good - definitely better than the girl.
Porquê? Carla: Bom, começo por dizer que o quer que venha a escrever será única e simplesmente em relação às capas, uma vez que não li o livro. Primeiro que tudo posso dizer que até gosto da composição da capa nacional em relação à original, mas sinto que apenas vendo a capa estaria a ler um livro qualquer de bondage e coisas afins. Segundo, nada na imagem nacional remete para o lado oriental - que sei que existe na história - e que está tão bem retratado na capa original. A capa original consegue manter algum tipo de sumo em relação ao enredo. Neste caso em particular vou dizer que não gosto de nenhuma das capas. Para mim nenhuma é deliciosa.
Joana: Ao contrário da Carla, eu li o primeiro livro desta série (cuja crítica podem ler aqui) e até tenho o segundo cá em casa (apesar de não ser fã da personagem principal, gosto das outras personagens e quero saber o que lhes acontece). A primeira vez que vi a capa portuguesa, pensei que não tinha nada a ver com capas de outros livros da mesma autora, e não sendo muito fã da maioria das suas capas portuguesas, isto até poderia parecer um elogio – mas não é. Não acho a capa atractiva e, sinceramente, acho que tem pouco a ver com o livro. Já a capa original, tem alguns traços mais característicos da história, como o facto da nossa protagonista ter ascendência oriental. Porém, também não a acho apelativa e acaba por não chamar propriamente a atenção do público que talvez tenha mais interesse por estes livros, de fantasia com erótico à mistura. Na minha opinião, e concordando com a Carla, nenhuma das capas é deliciosa.

Why? Carla: Well, I'll start by saying that I never read this book, so my thoughts will be only about the covers. Firstly, I can say that I like the composition of the Portuguese cover in comparison to the original, but I feel like if I only saw the cover I would be reading a book about bondage and stuff. Secondly, nothing in the Portuguese cover relates to the Asian part of the story - which I know that exists - that the original cover shows so well. The original cover manages to keep some kind of content from the plot. But in this particular case, I'll say that I don't like either covers. For me, none of them are delicious.
Joana: Unlike Carla, I’ve read the first book of this series (you can read the review here), and I even have the second book at home, even though I did not like the main character, I wanted to know what happened to everyone else. The first time I saw the Portuguese cover, I thought it had nothing to do with the covers of the other book the author has published here. Considering that I did not like most of her covers, this might have sounded like a compliment – it is not. I don’t find the cover attractive and, to be honest, I don’t think it has much to do with the book. The original cover, on the other hand, has a few more similarities with the story, especially the fact that the main character is Asian and is well represented on the cover. However, I also don’t find it appealing and I don’t think it calls out to the main type of readers of this kind of book (which is a fantasy with a bit of erotic). In my opinion, and agreeing with Carla, none of the covers are delicious.

Sem dúvida, a da esquerda
Porquê? Carla:The Fault in Our Stars é, e será sempre, um dos meus favoritos. Tenho por habito lê-lo uma vez por ano (coisa que o ano passado não aconteceu por as mais variadíssimas razões, e que vou tentar que não volte a acontecer este ano). E tenho que confessar que fiquei muito contente com a adaptação, que foi das poucas que sentir ser verdadeiramente fiel ao livro (mesmo com uma ou outra mudança, que são sempre necessárias numa adaptação cinematográfica). Mas, o meu amor pela simplicidade e beleza da capa original é imensamente superior à nova capa. É belíssima, também, mas a capa da esquerda, a original, é tão perfeita que não havia necessidade de mexer.
Joana: Foi a Carla que me sugeriu o The fault in our stars e foi das melhores sugestões de sempre. Seguindo essa tendência, como a Carla, prefiro a capa da esquerda, a original, ainda que a capa da direita, igual ao poster do filme, mantenha em si a simplicidade, a ideia das nuvens e a beleza da primeira. São duas capas lindas, mas a primeira é a que me atrai mais.

We are back with our “Which one is the most delicious?” feature, where we compare covers, posters and other visual aspects of books and movies. This feature will become more regular on the blog, so expect more posts like this one in the future!
The most delicious cover:
The left one, definitly.
Why? Carla:The Fault in Our Start is, and always will be, one of my favourite books. I have the habit of reading it once a year (which didn’t happen last year for a lot of different reasons, but I’ll try to not happen again this year). I must confess that I was very happy with the movie adaptation of this book, because I feel like it’s one of the few adaptations faithful to its source (even though it has a few necessary changes). But, my love for the simplicity and beauty of the original cover is wildly superior to the new cover. It’s also beautiful, but the cover from the left was perfect; there was no need to change.
Joana: Carla was who suggested to me to read The fault in our stars and it was one the best suggestions ever made. And also, just like Carla, I prefer the cover on the left, the original. However, the cover on the right does keep the simplicity, the design of the clouds and beauty of the first one. There’re both beautiful covers, but the left one is the one that actually catches my eye.
Uma vez que estamos em Dezembro, mês do Natal, escolhemos para esta rubrica um livro dentro da temática. Um livro de três contos, de diferentes autores, que no final acabam por estar ligados.
Capa mais deliciosa:
Sobre estas capas estamos de acordo: a da direita é, sem dúvida a favorita.
Porquê? Carla: Ambas as capas são bonitas, mas a minha favorita é a original (da direita). Primeiro porque adoro as cores, sendo o azul uma das minhas cores favoritas. Depois, uma vez que o titulo é Let it Snow as imagens de três flocos de neve (um para cada autor) parece-me uma ideia simples e bastante interessante. Transparece o frio e toda a sensação do inverno (talvez perca em relação à capa portuguesa porque não passa muito o espírito natalício). Ainda assim, quando vi pela primeira vez a capa da edição português achei muito bem pensada: estão lá todos os pormenores dos três contos e, mais do que isso, estão lá os elementos que ligam os três contos numa narrativa completa.
Joana: A Carla leu o livro e por isso consegue identificar os pormenores na capa portuguesa, que não deixa de ser bonita à sua maneira. Pessoalmente, prefiro a capa original. Apela mais ao lado simples, não tanto do Natal, mas do Inverno. E claro, o título, esse sim, remete-nos para uma época mais natalícia. Gosto das cores e dos flocos de neve, tão claros a identificar cada autor - e dando mais atenção a esses do que a capa portuguesa parece fazer. Como a Carla diz, talvez o mais simples atraia mais. Para o lisboeta, como eu, talvez a capa natalícia apele mais mas para mim, fã de neve e admiradora de flocos de neve, a capa original é sem dúvida mais atraente.
